How to use your HSA/FSA card

Step 2 Select Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA as your payment option.

Step 3 Card Entry

Step 3 Enter your HSA/FSA debit card details.

If you don’t have your HSA/FSA debit card, you can also use a regular credit or debit card. Within 2 hours, Flex will email you an itemized receipt that you can use to get reimbursed through your FSA/HSA plan.

HSA/FSA Payment questions

SMARTS Health has partnered with Flex to allow you to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA). This means you can use your HSA or FSA debit card to purchase our products with pre-tax dollars, resulting in net savings of 30-40% depending on your tax bracket.

Add products to your cart as usual. At checkout, select Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA, enter your HSA or FSA debit card details, and complete your order. If you don’t see this option, you may be in Shop Pay—choose “checkout as guest” to view more payment options.

You can still select Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA and enter your credit card information. Flex will email you an itemized receipt that you can submit for reimbursement.

HSA/FSA cards work like debit cards. The most common reason for a decline is insufficient funds. Please check your account balance with your HSA/FSA administrator.

Please forward the request from your FSA provider, and we will work with the Flex team to issue a new receipt.

Check your spam or promotions folder, as emails from notifications@withflex.com may be filtered. If you still don’t find it, email support@withflex.com with your order details.

Currently, this isn’t supported. If one account doesn’t have sufficient funds, you can pay with a credit card instead and Flex will provide you with a receipt for reimbursement.

This may happen occasionally. Please contact us and we’ll review the charges with the Flex team and provide clarification or refund details if needed.

Yes, sales tax on eligible items is also covered. If you have a split cart, the tax will be proportionally divided among eligible items.
